We offer financial assistance in the form of grants and scholarships for students to attend our school. These grants cover all or much of the cost of tuition ($4,000 is the full cost per child per school year) and can be applied for during the registration process.
The Early Childhood Education Grant (or ECE) will cover the cost of children who qualify that are four-years-old by September 30th of the school year that they are beginning at our program. Requirements for this program also include providing to our Main Office your child's birth certificate, immunization records, and dental records, as well as meeting specific income levels as noted by our "Sliding Fee Scale."
The Cuyahoga County Early Child Care (or ECC, formerly known as the TAP) Card will assist with the cost of tuition for children who do not qualify for the ECE Grant. These children are those that are three-years-old after September 30th of the school year, or are five-year-olds in our Preschool Program. Parents and families participating in this program will check-in and check-out at the ELC Main Office via an iPad each day to record attendance. Funding will be provided by the county directly but parents who are not in the system MUST PAY tuition until this takes effect. Parents are asked to continuously follow-up with the county offices to assist in your child's processing speed. We do NOT have any part in the processing of this information and are not permitted to assist. As a rule of thumb, the quicker the information is processed the less money families will pay. Continue to follow-up frequently to ensure processing is timely.
