All employees and volunteers at our school undergo thorough screening, including background checks through the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation & Identification (BCI&I). For complete information on screening policies, see the revised Policy, section 1.2 (p. 3). This policy can be found in the Main Office or online at our School Handbook.

All employees and volunteers also must complete VIRTUS Training through both one live session and monthly bulletin readings.   VIRTUS is also referred to as “Protecting God’s Children” and is a requirement for employment at all Diocese of Cleveland Catholic Schools. 

All staff have the appropriate State-licensed Teacher or Educational Aide certifications as outlined by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE).  Many of our staff have Masters Degrees, each Kindergarten – 8th Grade Teacher has a Bachelor’s Degree, and each Educational Aide has a High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree.
