WHY SHOULD PARENTS CHOOSE OUR SCHOOL?
Our program was originally started over a decade ago by legendly Principal, Lydia Harris. A pioneer in urban-education in our city and a strong advocate for State-wide assistance for urban families, our program existed originally as a junior-Kindergarten and Head Start prior to persuing our “Step Up To Quality” program license.
Our Preschool staff is loving and nurturing of all of God’s children and has over 50 years of combined experience in the education of urban children. We regularly take a minimum of ten hours of Professional Development through OCCRRA in conjuncture with “Step Up To Quality”, as well as religious certification with the Diocese of Cleveland.
Our “Philosophy of Education” states that we believe that a Catholic education begins with faith that God in creating the world, gifted us with life, became one of us in His son, Jesus, and in the Person of His Spirit awaits our response to His unconditional overture of love. Our education is culturally-rich and understanding of our community while also assisting with services and connections to the community for necessary resources. As Jesus came to save all of us, we work together with parents for the betterment of all of God’s children.
